Dr. Sara Satin is a board-certified prosthodontist dedicated to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care with an emphasis on exceptional esthetics, function, and long-term results. A Maryland native, Dr. Satin grew up in Potomac and went on to attend the University of Michigan, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Movement Science with a minor in the History of Medicine. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University, graduating magna cum laude. Following dental school, she completed her postgraduate specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Maryland, where she also earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Science.
Following her specialty training, Dr. Satin achieved board certification in prosthodontics, a distinction earned through a rigorous examination process administered by the American Board of Prosthodontics. She has a particular interest in incorporating the latest digital technologies into her practice to enhance precision, predictability, and the overall patient experience. Her approach to treatment combines meticulous attention to detail with a focus on creating natural, beautiful results that function well and are designed to last.
Dr. Satin is involved in the local community and remains committed to continuing education. She currently serves as the President of the Maryland Chapter of the American College of Prosthodontists and attends study clubs and conferences on a local and national level.
